The Rooms
![]() |
The Anderson Valley Inn is a rustic six-room hotel that was built entirely out of redwood in the early 1950s. The Inn has four standard rooms and two suites with kitchens. The rooms are comfortable and clean and every room has its own private bathroom and shower. Standard rooms have queen-sized beds, hardwood floors, redwood ceilings, and colorful country quilts, altogether making them quite charming. The suites have fully equipped kitchens, a bathtub with a shower, and both a queen and double bed, making them ideal for families or groups. A lovely garden setting and outdoor seating near each room further enhance the Inn’s natural comfort and charm.
In the Santa Rosa Press Democrat an article on our valley referred to the Anderson Valley Inn as an inexpensive hideaway; a room here being considerably less in price than the valley’s bed and breakfast inns. Helpful to guests who want to “get away from it all” is the absence of TVs or phones in the rooms, but if needed a courtesy phone is available for local calls and long distance with a calling card. Overall in regards to lodging in the area, The Rough Guide (seventh edition) says, “The best deal to be had is at Anderson Valley Inn.” |

Kids are Ok! Guests with young children can stay in the suites, and children over 10 years old may stay with parents or guardians in our standard rooms. Standard rooms have a queen bed but if needed, for a one-time charge of $20 a temporary foam bed will be provided to accommodate a third person. The suites with their kitchens and bathtubs are especially helpful to parents with infants and toddlers. The suites have a limit of five people. Bring Fido! You can bring Snoopy, Spot, or Fido on your Anderson Valley getaway. Well-behaved dogs are permitted in the suites. If you have a well-behaved dog that you would like to bring with you to the Inn, call first to be sure that one of the suites is available. Please note that dogs may never be left in a room unattended so plan on bringing Fido with you on all of your outings. Also insurance rules require that on hotel grounds dogs must be kept on a leash at all times. |
