Great restaurants within a 10-minute drive

The finest restaurant in the area is located at the Boonville Hotel. Eating there will cost you almost twice as much as eating anywhere else in Boonville. Is the food worth the price? You bet it is! Before dinner at the hotel stroll through its lovely gardens and ponder the interesting metal artwork on display. Have you ever seen a sculpture made out of old shovels? During your stay in Anderson Valley we recommend that you eat at least one dinner at the Boonville Hotel. Reservations are recommended.

If you want to spend less and still get a great meal, go to Lauren’s Restaurant in Boonville. Lauren’s is noted for good food at popular prices and friendly country service. Or go to the Buckhorn Saloon, which serves lunch and dinner along with Boonville Beer. At the Buckhorn you can order eight different tiny glasses of Boonville Beer at once. That way you can taste a variety of Anderson Valley brews while you dine watching the Giants, A's, Raiders, or the Forty-Niners. If you don't care to watch sports eat on the deck and enjoy the sunset. Bring your dog.

Had too much wine? Don’t want to drive anymore? No problem! Within a short walk from the Inn is Libby’s Mexican Restaurant. This is a very good Mexican restaurant that we highly recommend. Or, until 8 PM, (7 PM in winter) you can pick up sandwiches and snacks at Lemon’s Market and Deli situated next to Libby’s Restaurant.

What About Breakfast?

Anderson Valley Inn is not a bed and breakfast, but within a 10-minute drive from the Inn a hearty breakfast can be had in Boonville at the Horn of Zeese, which in Boontling, means a cup of coffee. For early birds the Redwood Café in Boonville serves breakfast starting at 6:30 AM. Check out the map of Anderson Valley in Boontling, painted on the Café's outside wall. Espresso lovers can breakfast at the Boonville General Store across from the Boonville Hotel. While there you can pick up a copy of their booklet on Boontling. What the heck is Boontling you ask? Anderson Valley is home to what experts consider one of the world’s most amazing linguistic phenomena, Boontling. Anderson Valley in the late 1800s was so secluded that it developed its very own language. Imagine that!

These are just a few reasons to stay at the Anderson Valley Inn, the place that’s less then 10-minutes away from everything that’s happening in the Anderson Valley.
